Car's blast to drive
Many pictures added including the undercarriage, paint meter readings, Valve covers off and compression numbers
This is not your ordinary E55 --- it's completely sorted out, nicely modified and well serviced vehicle
If it had issues, I would have never kept it 5 years along with another stock E55, E63s wagon, Porsche 964Turbo and 997 TT
I love driving them all
I guess I can always sell the stock E55 90K miles but it would be mid to high 20's so this one is really a good price.
Interested person could always drive both cars and compare ---- They both really drive the same --- No rattles or creeks and no rust
Took the car off the lift needed to change the wagon's oil
I rarely sell anything as i have regrets from selling my MKIV Supra TT (owned two), E36 M3-4-5 (owned 3 one custom Turbocharged) and the 997 TT (just bought another one) .... so I might just keep it
Eyeing both E36 M3/4/5 and MKIV Supra TT but yesterday I drove a friends Tesla Plaid so might have to scratch that itch before looking for the other two.
The acceleration was mind boggling and very intoxicating ---- unbelievable car.
I don't know if there is anything quite like them. I have my 2002 I bought new. One of six cars now, still love to drive it. Has 120k miles and is bone stock. Fast (not the fastest), smooth, decent handling, and comfortable. What is not to like. Good luck with your build. I know the forum will be watching.
A lovely guy came from out of State and bought the Black Beast over the weekend.
Glad it went to an enthusiast who appreciated all the money and the effort that went into the car.

I bought The Black Beast for my Son and I've just picked up a stock Silver E55. We're both looking forward to some driving, tinkering and wrenching together
