Caliper Color????

Hey guys, needed some help with a caliper paint color. I purchased some SLK55 6/4 Pot calipers a while back and finally getting the time to refinish them and do the swap. I originally had my mind made up on a Burnt Copper paint and now the wifey thinks it’s a bad idea. She likes a royal blue color. Let me know your thoughts.

With those thick spokes, you should go with Brembo red or just paint black and enjoy the better brakes.

I was thinking the same thing with the black with white AMG lettering. Don’t think I could do red. The VHT Burnt Copper color looks great with silver but maybe to flashy for the car.

Go with the black with white lettering. Definitely do not go with burnt copper.

Keep it classic , don't ruin a good thing to much.
What tint % do you have. I just picked up one of these in the same color and am debating tinting windows.

The brakes are my last mod for sure(until I come across a renntech intake &#128525. I believe the tint is 20%all around. It came with the tint when I bought it. Needs to be redone but I do like no tint as well. The factory blue glass looks good.

With that style wheels ( thicker spokes), no matter what size and color caliper you choose, it won't show up, save the funds for something better.

You can definitely see the caliper especially with the new calipers being twice the size as the stock. I’m just doing rattle can paint so not costing me much. Definitely not spending the cash on powdered coating

started sanding yesterday....what a pain the front are with all the little crevasses. I’m leaning towards Black but I keep coming back to the Burnt Copper 🤦

Man just do what ever color you really like worst case you can redone them , really all depends on the look you going for
I’ve seen yellow and green ones makes the car pop but don’t listen to anyone with negative vibes
posts some pics when you decide would like to see them

An odd color would be awesome! How many, red, black, copper do we see on a daily basis?? A different color would be rad I'd do mine too but man, seems like a lot of work and down time for the car; which I need

I know it. I don’t know why I’m so hesitant on my color choice. At the end of the day anything is better looking than the stock calipers. Believe me I don’t listen to anyone’s negative opinions, especially on a forum. Haters will hate and trolls will troll. Thanks for the input my man.

I like it too, in fact I have a similar color wheel right now. I like colors too: have had red, blue, grey, silver colored wheels......life is too shirt to look like every other car
