This took longer than I care to admit to take off, because it is on there pretty tight. I had the most problem on the bottom part of the accelerator pedal because the rubber is pretty thick there and it is really snugly fit in that area.

I finally got frustrated and clipped a portion off of the rubber to slide off... :v !

I did the same on my E55 without thinking twice. I took a sharp box cutter and clipped off the rubber piece.

Well its not an 05 pedal...as it didnt come in my 05 e55. I think you are talking about the pedals that come either on teh SL55 or the new C classes.

My CL55 has the pedals...personally I'd get the AMG knock-offs. At least they say AMG and actually look pretty cool vs. the ones I have on my CL.

I think it's an '05.5 pedal. I received my E55 on Friday and I have the aluminum pedals with the rubber buttons. I think if your car was manufactured after December 2004, you got these pedals.

Ah, didnt know that. In that case, do you have the part numbers? Did it have a matching dead pedal too?

I'll see if I can find a part number, but there's no dead pedal. Just the accelerator, brake and parking brake pedals (three total).
