An RX8 beat me...
driving home from the movies last Friday and I drove up to a light next to a bright yellow RX8 w/ two young ones. I'm on the cell ordering some wings from Hooters and the light turns green and he lights his tires...still ordering wings...damn I was hungry.
I drive up to the next light and there they are again pointing at my direction. I'm hungry and I know I could blow them out of the water, but I also know that the area we were about to run through had a speed trap set up earlier in the evening because I drove by it.
I rev my engine and jump a little in my lane...light turns green and BOOM they are spinning there tires and I see a finger giving me the number one sign as they drive away...into the arms of our local constable
! Gotta love karma.

Never fails for me too. There is a certain street that is "cop road" and they use LIDAR so you're screwed most of the time. Always getting challenged on it....I gotta just sit there and take it most of the time. Finally got pi$$ed this weekend and nailed it and jumped ahead of some jerk, then came to my senses and jammed the brakes just in time to go 10 under before Laser alarm went off....whew.

The speed trap is pretty active at the end of the month and start of every weekend. The speed limit is 45mph.

I was challenged by a Trans AM WS6 while in my Viper. The highway was crowded and I didn't feel like running him. I just laugh cause he won't quit taunting me. He floors off and gives me the finger, how nice!

Even if it was not stock, I am sure his Viper would have a field day with him. I had so much fun driving the new SRT-10 Viper a few weeks ago. I see so may stupid drivers everyday who cause near collisions because they need to show how fast they are. I just stay clear of them unless I am at a red light and then they are toast (still keeping it within the speed limit
)

The acceleration of this thing is amazing. I'm 300 miles into the break-in. Pushing the pedal down two thirds is like flooring my old 540. I think of the gas pedal as my personal fast forward button. Step on it, and life flashes by a little faster.

I had a TransAm WS6 that had a few Viper kills under it's belt.

How are you having the Sirius installed can drive 55? Mine is a lease car so I let them mount it on the trunk lid. They painted the cover Black Opal to match. It doesn't look too bad. So far it gives me something to talk about with the majority of the populace who don't know what an E55 is. (What's that for? -- Satellite radio. -- Wow, your car has everything.) I was just asking because it took two days for the guy at the dealership to make the Comand recognize the receiver, and that was with an "easy" install. I hope you are not delayed so long.
Hey, I just noticed you sig. I have to revise mine. The Nav is a lot of fun. And watch peoples' faces the first time you hit a fast corner and the Drive Dynamic Seats kick in.

The dealer painted mine before the car arrived. It sat on my salesman's desk for about three weeks. That's how I knew my car was in. I stopped by over the lunch hour last week and the antenna had left his desk. Hang in there!
