First drag meet: 12.35sec stock
Last week drag meet got washed out by rain. Last night we had a beautiful night in Sydney.
My first time at the brand new, sea level Western Sydney International Drag Way, Wednesday night Off Street Drag Meet.
A lot of cars arrived on trailers with tires like "Big Foot" -did not challenge them!
I did 6 runs against other V8's and a Honda S2000 Turbo, on stock Conti2 tires with 2.5mm tread left on the rear. ESP on and OFF, mirrors folded for top end speed (LOL).
The little HONDA S2000 Turbo roadster was the only one to beat me with 12.71sec against my 12.88sec or two car lengths.
I got better in my third run, at 12.35sec, destroying a hotted-up 5.7 L Chevy engine Aussie V8 by 200ft /1.26sec.
My car is stock, with lowered suspension and K&N Filters only.
Fastest time 0-400 :12.35sec : ESP OFF , 35 psi rear, no wheel spin, so tire pressure wasn't really a factor.
Slowest: 12.95 ESP ON (fell asleep at the start?), 25psi rear.
Fastest speed :113.67mph , slowest: 111.72mph.
Best 60' : 1.874 sec. Best Reaction Time : 0.176 sec.
Next time I will bring my son to do a video, but for now a couple of photos.
