The Princess is Home!

Members: finally brought her home and have enclosed some pix. The pix include the lited door sills, Lidatek in front shroud with LED mounted by pillar on drivers side and the rest of her glory. I traded my 2005 C6 and dropped off the wait list for the Z06-it was the right thing to do. I have wanted an E55 since 2000 when I bought my BMW M5 instead-life is good!

All: my next mod should/could be the pulley and ECU upgrade if everyone thinks this is the best 'bang 4 buck' option. My question is if were pulling close to 500 now and the upgrade says 540? is the difference noticeable to those who had it done? Also, what @ the warranty issue? Finally, where in southeast michigan can i get it done? Thanks, BTW, she did have a dirty chin for the photoshoot, I hope she'll forgive me!

Welcome to the club. So what's first on the mods, rims? BTW, too many E55s w/HRE 547 rims so maybe consider another style.

Congrats, joker. Man, I hate those bugs! Spent most of last Sunday getting rid of them. As much as MDOT has screwed up 94, you've got all the HP you need for now

4 coats of Zaino helps, but nothing is perfect. Who did your clear bra? I thought about it a long time but in the end I passed. I never found anyone nearby that seemed up to the task.

XRAYMD: the dealer had a vendor do it in their bay-very nice job. I had some young dude do my C6 vet in aug. 04 and it was marginal. Once again you get what you pay for-I live on a farm in the country and the paint needs abrasion/impact coverage-Joker

You definitely need it out there. My folks live in rural Chelsea and the beast won't visit there. Forget the rocks and bugs, no 3M stuff is going to stop a deer! Last deer impact of mine (not the rest of the family) was 3rd year of medical school on Scio Church near Parker Rd. Deer 1 (totally trashed my already beat up Accord), Honda 1 (RIP deer).

Hmm, what would the beast looks like with a bush bar? Peter B could chrome it.
