just read in my new car mag the 1982 camaro z28 v8 had 167hp and did the 1/4 mile at 83mph. thank god i didnt have my license then.

I learned to drive in a 1980 280ZX which was not considered a good car in my school full of rich kids. Darn I loved that car. If it hand't been totaled by the person we sold it to 14 years after the family bought it I might try to find it again for sentimental reasons. Besides, the nextdoor neighbor is bothering us about all the cars so we have decided if they try to get our car we park on the street towed we're just gionna buy more cars!

My very first car. '82 Camaro Z28 Pace Car. They were 5.0L 150hp, but mine had the optional 165hp "Cross Fire Injection". It was a big WOW back then.

I was 17, freshman @ Toledo University in Ohio. OOOOOOOOh the good old memories.

First car ... 1966 Pontiac Tempest convertible ... cadet blue with a Chevy 350 dropped into it. Sort of like the one below. Wish I still had it!

My first car was a hand painted (with a roller no less) '75 VW bug. I'm not sure how many HP it had, but it was well under a 100. Hey, what do you expect for $100? Favorite, next the the E, was a '73 Pontiac Catalina with a 4-barrel 454. It caught fire when I ran it in the local demolition derby.

Clarion 4 speaker radio-cassette - usually cranked up.
