Just got a bunch of stuff installed -- btw, what defines stage 3?

Current mods:

K&N airfilters
S class air intake tube
Evosport headers
Evosport bypass pipes (instead of pre cats)
RMP Racing trick cat back tunable exhaust
Kleeman Software
Underdrive Pulley
Kleeman Limited Slip
Evosport cooling system
heat wrap for intake tubes

next:
Cryo kit
Intercooler sprayer
cams
gears maybe

I went 12.1@115 asjusted for 2000 DA bone stock. Hope that on BFGs the car can turn a 11.5-11.6@120...thats pretty much what a stock '06 Z06 will run...crazy. Even with the LSD the car is traction limited and at 60 mph the car began to drift about 3 feet into on coming traffic WITH the LSD and WITH traction control...scared the crap outta me.

I am looking to dyno soon...hope to see 500rwhp and even more torque.

The exhaust modification from RPM Racing is VERY TRICK. The valves open fully in 4 seconds and I can adjust it anywhere in between. At the full 4 seconds it sounds like a harley. At 1 second open it sounds like a mustang, Vette, etc.

Its amazing as it goes from a true BEAST to a civilized sounding car in just 4 seconds.

Congrats with the mods. Were you happy with RPM? They did good work for me but I need to go back because I may have a blown exhaust gasket.

E55baller, I guess that was you that Eric and Russ were telling me about. I was interested in how your evo cooling kit install went. Stopped by a few days I think before you went in. They did my Renntech stuff and was very happy with them. I'll be doing headers next, probably Kleemann. Deciding between Kleemann and evo cooling kit.

Saber -- yes very happy with the workmanship at RPM. Do you have the same exhaust package? What mods did you have on to net you an 11.65 ET?
How was your 60-foot?

You can tell RPM knows what they are doing. Saw a 996 getting a 750hp package and a Yellow lambo getting some mods.

Cte -- I had a dilemena about what to get next...the LSD, headers, or evo sport...I ended up getting all but I think I would do the headers first, evo, then lsd...just make sure you have DR's and do the pulley the last since it will heat soak the crap outta your car.

What did you find out was the mechanical issue with your car when you were losing power after the pulley mod? Obviously you have it fixed.

Stephen,

I still have to lay into the car about 5-10 times today to ensure it is "ok".

I *think* the root of the problem may have been the speedtuning chip (cost $400). I had a Kleeman flash done. The mechanics at RPM seemed to think the car was acting much better and not going into limp mode.

It has been raining where I am the past 2 days so I have not really had a chance to get on it for a 2-3 gear pull but all single gear pulls feel good. I will let you know conclusively soon, I hope it is all fixed and good to go.

Did you get headers installed yet? NICE 60-foot time. What was your launch rpm and tire pressure?

No headers yet. I am still having problems justifying the cost for the .2 that I may get from their install. Since I am a speed junkie, I may crumble and buy them anyway.... I had the air pressure at 22psi and launched at 1200 rpm and only had one run that day. That is the only run with the drag radials as the track (Richmond) was too crowded that day. Good luck and your car will be a true beast once you get the bugs worked out.

Stephen,

if the headers supposedly yeild 30-35 rwhp wouldn't that be worth 0.3 tenths? I ask becuase its hard to find 0.1 laying around as it is.

I don't think 30rwhp is worth 3 thenths. You can't figure out what a horsepower increase will be in 1/4 mile times, too many variables. With our horspower and times that these cars run stock, it will take more than 30 rwhp to knock off 3 tenths. Take it to the track and let us know.
