If enough of us do it, they may consider adding the show to their US lineup.
Top Gear is currently being aired on the Discovery Channel. I don't know the times and days however I have watched it at home before.

M5 sounds quiet nice at full throttle. But according to Mr. Clarkson, the engine sound horrible at idle and low RPM.

Bad thing is that I can't rev the M5 engine until 5,000 miles break in period. Two more month of waiting for my car, and probabbly 3 more month for me to break in that thing.
3 months to break it in?? IIRC, the break in on my E46 M3 was only 3000 miles. I did it in 1 1/2 months.

The Discovery Channel version is a mix of UK original tapings, and new footage for the US market. The footage is from the 1st or 2nd season, so they are talking about cars reviewed in 2003.

Discovery shows it on Wednesday night and Thursday. I forget exactly what time, but I just tivo any show at any time titled Top Gear.

The full UK versions are better, but I have to watch on my PC.

I put on a whopping 7k miles on my M3 is little over a year after I owned it.

I do not use the M car for daily driver. I made a mistake of driving the M3 from LA to bay area once. My back was about to crack in half.

"Only a month ago, I stepped out of the Ferrari 430 and thought that maybe in 200 years, someone, somewhere, using materials that don't currently exist, will make something better. But in fact, I only had to wait four weeks. The M5 is that good."
--Jeremy Clarkson (review of the E60 M5 on his website)

I think the above quote is a pretty PROFOUNDLY positive view of the M5, don't you think?? Some posters on this forum (they know who they are) cannot provide a fair criticism or perspective of a vehicle. They firmly believe if it is a BMW M, it automatically sucks

Aaaaand what are you doing here with that, exactly?

It seems that this M5, however dynamically incredible and soul-stirring, is still a step down from previous M5s... because it's only an M5 half the time! The other half of the time, when the M mode is not engaged, it's just a normal 5 series and that's subpar for an M5- it's not a practical, understated or refined car.

BTW- we didn't get navigation, and I don't think the turn signals are too challenging after you get used to them (though I did goof up once or twice...) =)
