I'm not sure why people hate the 5's styling so much 
I can't say it's the most beautiful design, but I thought the front is one of the better areas of the 5's design.

I guess we all have different opinions, I really can't get used to the headlights of the new 5.
I'm fairly opened to new designs, I like the new Audi, VW, Infiniti, Saab, Bentley, Volvo or even the Lexus, but I just can't warm up to any of the new BMWs. I think my favourite will be the X3 or the new 3 out of the batch.
Test drove the new Mustang the other day, quite a nice looking car right off the bat. The new 7, even with all the messing around still looks pretty sad in my opinion.

The 5 styling is too feminine IMO. The M5 styling tries to be aggressive but doesnt quite pull it off. The M bumper looks wrong, AMG's styling owns all the M's. I like a car that looks pissed off, especially from the front. Thats one of the main reasons I drive a CLS55.

Mannnnn, looks like the tables have turned on us. Now WE are the butt of jokes on the BMW boards with the truck fender S class. I actually like it (new S) a lot, but it's like having a supermodel wife, with a massive neck goiter. In this case the goiter is those f'in truck "fender flares".

Remember when MB fans were teasing BMW about the nasty looking 2-pc trunk of the E65/66 7-series....??? The new S trunk lid is looking pretty close to the 7's 2pc trunk lid.

I just don't get it. The CLS is just beautiful...from ALL angles.
Smooth flowing lines that just ooze class. What the hell happened??
Seriously, now that they have made the annoucement, can they go back and tweak before the unveiling in Frankfurt in Sept.

Hello....."Us" = Mercedes???
Last I checked....BMW really had no reason to howl at us with laughter......til now. The SLR nose is as close as it has gotten.
If you think that S look isn't gonna slowly work it's way toward the E...you're dreamin.

it look like there are more BMW guys that like the new s then the MB guys, when it was first released. but now there are more people that like the new sS then when it was released. i think more people will like it when they see it in the flesh.
