Getting closer. Won 1st place tonight for fastest street legal car. This would be an easy 10 second car if I could get the 60ft down into the high 1.6's.

Derek - Did you keep it under 190 MPH to and from the race track this time? Love your dedication to performance driving. 11.13 sec. 1/4 mile time is awesome. - Bob

It seemed like a pretty good launch; I watched it number of times noting when the last yellow light came on as compared to when your brake lights went off.
Thanks again for your suggestions to me, I've only been three times, but improving each trip.
Continued success to you,
Mark.

Have you been out to a track recently? Last time that I went out was last weekend (I think) at LACR. Did OK, but it was over 90 degrees and it seemed as though, with each run (eight total), my times kept creeping up.
Next time we're at the same track, be sure to come over to me. I'll graciously allow your 600+ hp Cobra to kick my ***.

Congrats Derek. You keep getting closer and closer. You will be in the 10's before you know it. I haven't seen or heard what you think about your new tires. Did they help at all or are they still about the same?
