Damn, and this was on a 4-door sedan. Of course, my car is just a lowly stock E55, but it makes me happy to know that my car has a lot of potential.

It seemed like a pretty good launch; I watched it number of times noting when the last yellow light came on as compared to when your brake lights went off.

just so you know...reaction time has no effect on the actual time you run down the track. The clock doesn't start until you move.

 

Yeah, I was aware of that, came across it in my reading. Maybe I used the wrong term; I used "launch" to mean reaction time to the lights vs. 60' time (or acceleration, generally).

Have you been out to a track recently? Last time that I went out was last weekend (I think) at LACR. Did OK, but it was over 90 degrees and it seemed as though, with each run (eight total), my times kept creeping up.

Next time we're at the same track, be sure to come over to me. I'll graciously allow your 600+ hp Cobra to kick my ***.
