I hope it's a joke, because if they gear it that high I think it'd be an absolute mistake.
Why gear it so high, in where that only magazine testers would reach? It'd be much smarter to limit to around 160mph and gear it that way too.
Image, 5 sec 0-120 or something probably a lot more realistic?
But then again, I bet having such a high top speed results in fantastic gas mileage during super-crusing.

I remember the thread about an E65 or E63 - whatever it was it was custom built anyway. Had the SL65 wheels and front spoiler etc. This was the speedo that was from inside the car. There were a series of external and internal photos

It shows the V8 so it's not the '65 and the '63 won't necessarily hit that kind of speed either. Although I did hit the 155 limit the other day effortlessly so I wonder how fast this I can go with this '55 engine.
