OT Ford GT
Local MB dealer here in Houston has a Ford GT on their used car lot. Stopped by last night (price isnt listed, big surprise) to check it out. I've always liked the car, but was very surprised at the poor fit/finish of the body panels. Uneven gaps, molded pieces that didnt fit tight, man it was ugly. Made the uneven gaps on my Lotus look pretty good lol. Is this normal for the car? Has anyone else had a chance to inspect one up close?

The one I saw was pretty impressive. I would probably choose a Ferrari 430 or even a 360 over it, but I couldnt find any noticeable F&F flaws outside what you'd expect on a $200k car.

The car had to be in an accident. Who trades in a 200K car to the dealer knowing they can easily get more anywhere else?
They obviously just wanted to get rid of it quickly and not have problems with a future private buyer when they found out it was in an accident.

Actually you can pick them up for @$170k. Dealers have become greedy asking too much and now everyone is waiting on the 2006 GT.

Im pretty sure this one came from an auction (tell tale winshield markings) but I could be wrong. Haven't had time to see what they are asking but if it is anything like their other cars, it will be alot.

The Ford GT is a pulley swap, exhaust, and retune away from big hp. Look at how well the 03-04 Cobra and Lightning trucks respond to minor mods. Think about upgrading the SC to a Kenne Bell unit too.... These cars will be making 700-750rwhp pretty easily I bet.
