I think that you will all be impressed by this:

Isn't it nice when things just *work*?

Yup.

A cut down version of that advert. is shown on Australian TV - with an Ozzy accent at the end.
It looks even better on a big screen TV.

If only all automakers would put as much engineering into the car as Honda did for that demonstration...

Very cool, but those tires rolling UP that ramp after very minimal contact and then STAYING THERE looks very strange.

wonderful commercial

It's probably the best auto commercial I have ever seen. Unfortuantely it was never shown here because the car is an Acura TSX here.

R. Range - they say no fakery but I thought those tires looked a little strange too!

I agree - the tyres are strange. In fact if you look closely, I think it was the second tyre that starts of slowly and actually accelerates a little on the way up the ramp.

I think the "no fakery" is total B***SH*T..... I say at least the tyres are fake and probably some other things.

No I don't think so
This also puzzled me momentarily, how do the wheels accelerate up a ramp by just getting nudged? They would have attached large weights on the inside of the wheel and centred it at the top of the wheel - and slight nudge would cause the weight to move off centre, propelling the wheel up the ramp :P

Seen it. Awesome commercial. Best ever actually, IMO. Too bad we never got to see it in the States.

Read the Telegraph article linked at the bottom - it explains it all. Amazing.
