Hey everyone!

I'm a new member, and would like to say hello to all by showing off my brand new 2006 E55 ////AMG.

Ordered 3 months ago from Bevery Hills MB, it just came in two days ago.
It's fully loaded except for parktronic (I figure, if you don't know how to park, you shouldn't be driving this thing anyway) and the dealer included free Illuminated AMG Door Sills throughout all 4 doors.
I've been a customer of theirs for 15+ years, and they finally hooked me up!

It's Flint Grey, and I must say that those Dynamic Seats are pretty cool little feature!

Haven't broken her in yet, she's still at 84 miles, and I can't wait to take that damn sticker off!

CONGRATS!!! That is a beauty. When I resided in CA. I opt to leave the sticker versus putting the front plate on. Brake it in smoothly.

It's a 2006, actually the only one in So. Cal for the moment (that's what the dealer told me). They got in a bunch of '06 E350s and E500s and only one E500. I originally ordered it as an 05, but that got replaced for the better!

How do I lower this car? Is it worth it? Should I do it?

IanSL55, I like you're ride stance, I think my E55 could be a little lower, but the questions above need answering??

I'm in SoCal too... Except for the Carlsson wheels my E55 is stock (lowered the SL55 w/ a Carlsson lowering module installed by MBWERKS in San Diego). You'll hear different opinions about what the best (or cheapest way) to lower the car, however I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for.

Since the first 2006 E55 have arrived at the dealers, can anybody tell me if the rear side-sunshades are still available? I couldn't find them in the configurator and if not, are they now a dealer-installed option?

I also like your AMG-Door Sills!! I didn't know that Mercedes offers OEM AMG-sills (I thought they only offer the boring Mercedes-Benz style). Does anybody know if they are available for the CLS as well??
