Frigging heavy! I swap my wheels for a race set-up every two weeks to go tracking and my lower back kills me for a week afterwards!

Do you work out Rafal?
I find that if you do elevated crunches, when swapping wheels later, I no longer feel sore.

Then again, I'm 17.. :p

Are you really 77?
That's incredible, and you're tracking your car as well!

Twin Spokes

Heavy and nasty to keep clean. Mine are chromed and look fantastic when clean, but they take constant attention.

How much weight savings is there in aftermarket rims, if i stay with 18" rims? I do want to add an inch in width to both the front and rears.

Aitken's Diet

<<The front are 28.7 lbs and the rear are 29.5 lbs.

that is terrible heavy.

I just weighed my stock rear conti's (worn and kaput after just 14K miles) and they were 19.5 Lbs and i replaced them with new PS2s ... 275s instead of 265s and I added back 5.5 lbs :-(

still too much torque for the PS2s to hook up from 0-10mph.

I replaced my old Audi S4 rims....28 lbs each with 18 inch SSR comp rims that weighed 16 lbs each.

Between taking out my stock tire (lost 50lbs), Light flywheel (lost 20lbs), light battery (lost 30 lbs), lighter brakes (lost 25 lbs), CF hood (lost 20 lbs), DP and exhaust (lost 30 lbs), lighter rims (lost 48 lbs) the total weight reduction was about 220 lbs bring my '01 S4 down to 3350 lbs.

From 0-75 mph it would beat my stock E55.

Now i wish i could put my E55 on an Aitkens diet...I guess the CF hood, battery, and lighter rims should be good for 80 less lbs.
