Quietest Tire?
A question? Currently on my 2005 E55 I am running Toyo's ProxesT1-S. The 55 has 275/ 19" 9.5/ R, 245s 19" 8.5/ F. These Toyos have to be the loudest tire on the planet. The tires have about 5000+ miles on them and when the car turns 10,000 miles the Toyos are history. Any suggestions about the quietest tire for the FAB E55?
Thanks,
Al E

Al E - Do not have personal experience with these tires, however most of the people, on this board, that use them, rave about them. Say they are quiet, stick well in corners, turn-in well, and reduce ESP usage. Below is a thread that has more info.

Good Luck.

Thanks for your help. Got the Michelin Pilot Sport 2 (PS2) mounted on my E55 this morning. What a difference in sound and ride the Pilots have made. Anyone need four Toyos for their 55(just kidding).. Again, thanks for your help.

GoodYear Eagle F1's are great tires too. I replaced the Conti's on my S Type R with a set of Eagle F1's and it was night and day; they were grippier, quieter, and all around far hardier than the crapola Continentals, which shredded like cheddar. And there's something to be said for the cool-looking "v" directional treads, especially on the fat back wheels.
The other thing, The good year's run a little less expensive than the PS2's.
