How old are our fellow E55 owners?
not everyone can shell out 90K for a car, and of plenty people that can, a lot of them don't really care to. i know of number of filthy rich people who could care less about spending more than 40K on a car, b/c it means nothing more to them than the means of transportation.
in fact, i think i'm the only person in my class who loves cars and would be willing to spend that much in the future. everyone else thinks i'm crazy for wanting to spend so much for what seems to them "just a car".
i think it also has to do with the mentality and values of people.
oh well...
That or maybe I'll just have to get the E63...whatever I like more.
Actually, it's only just beginning
I'm just joking of course. I'm 1yr ahead of you and enjoying it.
Where are your '06 E55 car pix btw...didn't you know the initiation into the forum involves showing off your ride? Unless of course you don't have one and is just posing haha.

My 18 year old son would have offered the same justification (and so would I, for that matter, when I was 18)

I frequently think of maturity in terms of age. But it seems some of you here have a firm grasp on maturity.
Hey, IF you can really appreciate the car and what your mom or dad has done for you, I think you're good to go.
So props to you guys, because I wouldn't know what 469 horsepower would feel like until a much later age.
:p

funny thing is when i went into the dealer i knew my sales guy and we were cool, but nobody else would look at me. after i signed the papers it was Mr. S this an Mr. S that. It was too late, they had already lost my respect

Sorry about the pics, the weather in Dallas isn't so good for taking pictures so I had to take them inside the garage.

BTW if you all ever do get together in Dallas put out the word on the forum so some of us in the area will be able to plan a road trip to big D. I'm hungry for some different quisine. Looks like New Orleans will be out of commission for a few mos.

Absolutely. I didn't realize you were just east of us on I-20. I'll work on some dates and locations and post something on here.
Maybe a road trip to Hot Springs, AR and we could meet up with you and other Louisianan's (sp?) in Longview/Tyler area. Just an initial thought.
Cheers,
Darren
