Headers and Pulley For Sale
Hello Everyone,
I'm putting up my old Evosport headers and Hennessey pulley for sale. Selling as a package for $3500. Thought I'd formally post here before putting on eBay. PM me if you're interested.
Cheers,
Darren

Hey Billy,
Good to hear from you. Yes, it was a broken ring. Had that fixed and then put in the cams. No more oil problems
Haven't had a chance to really run the car hard since the cams went it. It pulls like you wouldn't believe though. I'll try to take her to the 1/4 mile track that opens this saturday morning at 9 am just south of Dallas. The temp should be decent as well that early in the morning.
Regards,
Darren

Darren,
Tried to PM you but your box is full.
What does the Kleeman pulley and their cams run? I can't wait to see your new ETs. Btw, I heard the Kleeman cams only add 15rwhp...seems low. My only other experience was with a Supra and it added 45rwhp.

The Kleemann K3 setup costs around $10k (not including LSD). I'm looking forward to getting a true 1/4 mile ET as well. Yeah, the Kleemann cams only add about 15-20 rwhp, but I'm going for all I can get.
Take care,
Darren

Cams Will Be Good!
darren_dallas - The Kleeman Cams will move the Torque up the RPM range a bit, which should reduce some of the wheel spin at launch. This could be a good thing, since the 55K Motor has more torque, at launch, than the rear tires can handle anyway. The Cams will also allow the 55K motor to RPM a little more, extending the pull further in each gear, which is where the E55 can use the power. Sounds like a great Mod. to me! Let us know how it goes. - Bob

My local MB dealer did the install and we did not flash the ecu (per Kleemann's instructions). Kleemann says it isn't necessary (nor do they have an ecu file for them) as the stock ecu adapts to the additional valve lift, etc.

Out Of Control!!
I would have never thought that an MB dealer would get involved with mods. Glad to hear it, though. Seems to me that by doing the work, they would be more likely to not have negative issues when the warranty is concerned. I consider it to be good news. Maybe I will think about a trip to Colorado next year. I am begining to think that I need a bit more power. Let me know if you think the cams are worth the additional expense and good luck at the track. Looking forward to the results.

These are ready to go
Here is a photo of the headers and pulley. Someone make me an offer and you could have these items for a fraction of what I paid for them. I know you folks aren't shy on here so PM me for more info
Thank you,
Darren

Air- Induction Mod.?
darren_dallas - What is the Hennessey "Air-Induction" up-grade that is mentioned, on their Web Site, as part of their "568HP Up Grade"? Also, did they explain why they call it a "568HP Up-Grade" and then say it has a 540 BHP output? - Bob

EM,
I'm not sure what their air-induction upgrade actually is. I purchased mine through a small company who resold their pulley and the evo headers.
I got 483rwhp with this pulley and these headers (coupled with a Kleemann ecu upgrade) to unleash the power of both.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Darren
