Kleemann Upgrade
I'm thinking of doing a complete Kleemann upgrade but am unsure how most of you all have done it. I know that I can ship my car to Colorado and have it done, but has anyone had it done in Dallas or Atlanta or even Houston?
How long does it take? Say that I want to go Skiing in Aspen for a week could they do it while I'm in the mountains?
I've talked to my dealer and they will honor the warranty as long as it's not pertaining the Kleemann parts. They will also service it, so thats not a problem. Thanks for any pointers.

Rob,
I live in Dallas and did pretty much exactly what you're talking about doing. My wife and I drove the car to Colorado Springs, picked up a rental car, dropped off the car with Brandon and Cory at Kleemann, and then drove to the mountains and hung out at Breckenrdige and Copper Mtn for a couple of days.
They should only need your car for 2 days for a K2 setup. They will probably need your car for 3-4 days for a K3.
They don't have anyone in Dallas who is an authorized Kleemann dealer.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Darren

Personally if able....have it done by the masters at headquarters in Co Springs. They'll throw you on the dyno before and after.....throw on different ECU mods to get the most HP....just can't say enough about my experience.
If not, I am sure you would be okay with a local installer. I would definitely use one that one of the forum guys has used and recommends. Even if you gotta haul it a few hundred miles. One of these shops pops that harmonic on wrong and "see ya" on the ole crank. It's happened here on the forum.
K2 took them 2 days to do. I would call Cor and see if they maybe could get it done in 1..not sure.
K3 is bout the same....2 days. Cor said it's pretty cakey to do the cams. I couldn't justify spending the $$$ for 15-20 more top end hp....but now I regret it.

My car gets shipped to Cory this week for K2, cooling pump upgrade and LSD.
I am shipping from Ohio. Some Kleemann dealers are in my area but for the few extra bucks, I feel better about shipping it to Colorado. Did you know that FedEx has enclosed carriers at a reasonable price?
Best of luck.

Out Of Control!
Just go ahead and do it! No regrets and make sure you get the cams! After doing this upgrade you'll feel like you've just bought a brand new car! I'm running stage 8 and strictly on 101oct and couldn't be happier. Now i'm looking to see if i can use jet fuel for testing?

There is a authorized Kleemann dealer just north of Atlanta, GA in Duluth, MBS Motors. Site is www.mbsmotors.com and phone is 770-623-8280. Guy who runs the shop is Donnie Drummonds and while I have not had anything done to my car I did stop by and he is very knowledgeable.

Kleemann Is The Best!!!
I sent my C55 to Kleemann Colorado and couldn't be happier. Like another member said, they will try out various ECU programs to maximize your HP and Torque. Not too mention, I haven't had a single problem with the car. Brandon and Cory are great guys who know their ***** and provide great customer service! I can't say enough about my entire experience (pre-install, during and post-install)
I too regret not doing the cams.
