There's a dealer lot (Non-Mercedes) with a silver SLR just sitting on a lift... being baked in the scorching sun just a few miles from my place. It's nice, but I always ask myself, "Why would they place such a thing outdoors and not keep it inside?"

beautiful car. they've got a silver on red/black one at bev hills that's been gathering dust for about a year -- next to an all chrome sl55 (must be hell to polish). definitely looks superb in black.
what are the wheels on it called, and how can i get a set for my e55? how much would a set of 4 of those badboys cost, anyway? they are the cat's pyjamas, fer shurr!

BTW I like it better in black than silver. Silver's interior is a little gaudy.

I prefer Silver anyday, especially the highly metallic Silver that comes on the SLR but it definetly has a sinister quality about it in Black! Mhaynes772, what kind of phone did you take the pics with, they are pretty good for a phone camera!

Ugh, that is ugly. I agree with Dgussin, I love those carrera GTs. Seen a couple in NC. The yellow looks awesome on the Porsche when it flies by you.
