It sounds stock to me. However, I don't think it really sounds that good. With that said, the new Z06 is a heck of a car and probably the biggest performance deal of this century.

Inside the exhaust is a butterfly type thing that opens at a certain RPM. When you remove the "fuse", it opens the exhaust butterfly at idle and makes it sound like that.

2004 E55; 2002 Corvette Z06
When the fuse is removed, it opens the butterfly's just before the mufflers and basically makes it an open exhaust. That's a stock sound.
