Hi guys..

after selling my C240 sport, am planning to get E55 , i found two but still didnt decide which color to get..

btw both are used..

Am just need your comments on which colore between black or golden to get.

Can any one post pix of black or Golden E55.

I don't know if there are any "Golden" E55's in the US. I could be wrong...

If you mean gold as in Desert Silver, I wouldn't recommend it on an E55. That color usually belongs to an S-Class. Black is the way, although proper maintenance also comes with it. Good luck.

Well I changed my mind from that colores.. i just found silver one today, and picked photo of the car.

Just see carefully the front bumber and grill, i guess its abnormal gap, Is that can be adjusted? and How do you guys think this gap happend , howver thought it might be cuz of an accident but the owner said it requierd adjustment only and not happend by an accident.

I'm not sure if that is a real E55. Take a look at the Sport badge right underneath the akwardly placed V8 Kompressor badge. I'm thinking this is an E500 sport with some phony badges. Take a look at the rear of the car. Are there four exhaust pipes or two? Or look under the hood for that matter...if there is a V8 engine with a supercharger in there, I guess I'm wrong. If not, you owe someone a serious smack in the face!

My guess is that it was involved in some sort of front end collision and both fenders (wings) were replaced, but only regular "sport" e-class parts were available. This also explains the bumper gap.

quick exam of the brake rotors, engine compartment or seats would verify whether it is an E55 or not.

looks fake sounds fake feels fake taste fake.... but i like how you guys can have window tint on your front windshield that looks cool. they would have a **** fit if we did that in the US in fact my friend got a 100$ fix it ticket just for having to much of the black strip at the top of the windshield.

Hmm..... I've seen an E55 in the dealer showroom in DC-Japan and the "sport" badge is a standard decal on the car. If it's a non-US spec car, the badges on the fenders of the regular E's will read "classic", "elegance", or "avantgarde".

Check the gap between the hood and front fenders..... and between bumpers and fenders..... it could be not the bumpers and the fenders be the ones got replaced.... possibly just the hood.

Thanks guys for your help, why am in E55 forum is because i like the looks of E55 on E500.

Well As am in the Gulf "Middel East" note that this car imported from Germany so its Euro specification.

I am worry about one thing which is it might be this car wanted or stolen and exported to here.. it happend here with the 2nd hands cars specially Mercedes which are not with Gulf Specification.

Can Any one knows on how to ask if this car wanted or not?
