Time to get rid of E55!
Well fellas is was fun while it lasted. I guess we will all have Z06 in garage soon. They will be 11.00 1/4 street cars. Great clear video.
Even with drags the E55 will not make it.

What in the world does the E55 have to do with a 700 pound lighter coupe, exactly?
11.76 is very nice... but damn, shouldn't a 500 hp car that weighs 3.4k perform that well give that our "slow" E55 4.1k heavier 4 doors are pulling 12s all day long? God, I should hope so. At the LEAST.
They are two different cars completely.
AS for "nice clear video".... damn, sure, if you're on CRACK. Jerking around just trying to capture a stationary SIGN. Funny!
the Z06 rocks... but not because it will take an E55 in the 1/4. It rocks because Chevy finally built a Vette worthy of the name that is finally competitive with other cars in its class.

I agree, why is the E55 being compared to the C6 Z06? Personally, I ordered one because I wanted a daily driver/weekend track car and the C6 Z06 offers performance usually found in vehicles that cost 2X as much. The only modification I may perform is a set of light wheels and sticky tires for track days. If I wanted a sedan with character, I would have bought a '06 LS2 CTS-V and used the money I saved to give to Mallet or Lingenfelter.

WOWOWW why, common cause it is fast, and needs to be compared like this, this is where alll the amazement comes , MErcedes makes big planes that are COMPARED TO such flying machines as corvettes. See what I mean, now this time corvette made it better, but remember to compare best vs best meanig s65 vs last corvete and stock on stock. I would like to see c6 vs s65 video

A lot of E55 owners seem to claim how their E55 killed a M3 or something. If a comparison between the C6 Z06 and E55 is not really "valid", then maybe some of us should stop bragging about how the E55 killed this and that? Besides, killing anything that's not a four door sedan wouldn't be "valid" anyways. :p
