It was great to meet you last Sunday on the record-setting day down at SGMP. I was tickled with all the great times and even somewhat proud of my 13.349 @ 109.00. The 109 trap for a stock W208 CLK55 was the fastest I had seen, until today. "Slowpoke" earned a 109.01 with an ET of 13.2 at the track day up in Maryland today!

Short-lived as my 109.00 was.....

I want more.... :v

We chatted a little about the "House of Hook" in North Augusta. Do they run in December and January? If so, could we get set up for a few runs this winter when the temps are in the 40s or 50s?

I must avenge my one thousandth for the Southern boyz :v

Yes they do. I will be running there tomorrow giving the local mustang club a challenge for their SCMC Fall Shootout. Ran a 12.17 last night on Derek's old BFG's. They were not warmed up enough. Got to learn how to use them. I'll post some photos of the Carolina Dragway event after tomorrow. Hopefully I can bring home the bacon, it's a bracket race. I wish everyone could come. We'll plan something soon. Maybe Derek can bring the M5 since the LC is leashed now.

Sorry for the delay in posting a response guys, but my law practice has been eating my lunch this week. Last thursday night I made it out to Carolinadragway[.com for more info]. Lots of accidents and stuff only made one run on Dereks old BFGs. @12.14. Saturday, I competed in the SCMC (mustang club) bracket race. Drove in off the street hot and ran a 12.17. As I sat around cooling down I believe the BFGs cooled down and picked up a lot of rocks because I kept spinning them slowing down from 1.76 60fts to 1.9's and even a 2.0's. As a result, I lost my first round. Hard on the ego I must say.
As for getting together early December you can see on Carolinadragway's .com that they are hosting a big bracket race the first weekend. Therefore, we must examine other dates. As for the SCMC club, they crosstrain like Derek. They just ran Talladega's infield roadcourse and will run Kershaw, South Carolina's roadcouse next March. They also will have another bracket race at Carolinadragway in February.
We should plan on piggybacking their event(s). Any suggestions????

Thanks for looking into this for us.

I didn't see the '06 calendar up yet. Do they run anything on Fridays? I'd be up for taking 1/2 day Friday and driving over from Atlanta early to make the races at night.

For me, I'd prefer really cold/cool temps, especially if I'm going to expect any improvement in times. Perhaps Daddy Warbucks will offer to rent the track for a day

All the mustangs had nitrous so the numbers were exaggerated. Typically I heard low 300's. Highest was 500 RWHP with Nitrous.

I will ask the track tomorrow night about us doing something together at Carolina Dragway. My immediate issue is I have a day surgery scheduled in Atlanta Dec 9th. I'll have to take it easy for a week afterwards ( I am having a leadfoot installed so I can run a 10 second et like Derek). I will figure out something Chappy, Ted and friends. Life is too short not to have fun. P.S. I ran a 12.02 there two weeks ago. It was 38 degrees that night.
