Took the Carrera GT to the track last Sunday
Here's some video of me driving the CGT at the track last Sunday at our Porsche club's Driver Education event.
Sorry for the cinematography, it was my dad's 1st time using my camera. You can at least here the sound that this thing makes and watch it pass a stock 911 turbo on the straights, like it was standing still.

Nice vid - that thing is really a banshee. You should get yourself a data acquisition/cam setup like the AIM DaVID or something similar and run 1-2 cams in the car.

Wayne, his dad looks like a pro compared to mine. You should see the video that my dad took of us at the dragstrip. At one point in his filming I heard 5 cars go down the track and never saw one of them.

Okay first, that was incredible.
Second, if you ever get someone else to get video or your dad again, see if he can get a shot perhaps in the middle or toward the end of that straight.....I wanted to hear a few gears in row of accel...then hear that wiiiinddd as you brought it down.
Otherwise.....as usual, I sit in drool and envy.

I am so bummed that I couldn't make it to the DE. I woke up at 5:30 Sunday morning to get ready to leave and my wife told me she was sick. I needed to stay home with the kids. I was really bummed as my car was all ready to go.
Oh well, I am aiming for Dec 3rd. I heard it was pretty crowded. Glad you had fun.
