W211 Facelift ?

W211 Facelift ?
Guys I noted in some threads there is talk of an W211 2006 facelift coming ? Is this true ... ? I have ordered an '06 Jan delivery and will be pretty disappointed if I get one of the last older versions ....
Any pics of the facelift available yet ?

Here is a spied pic of what is suppose to be the 2007 E-class' back end...

...which concerns me b/c if the back end of the new '07 E looks anything like the S-class (as the article suggests) then I don't think I will like the new E. The rest of the '07 S I like but not that fugly back end booty.

PS So if C&D estimates on the '07 E500 are true, then this thing will be faster than my C55! Of course by then, I'll most likely try to upgrade and sell my C55.

On the picture it looks like the whole new model...but its not supposed to released till 2009...
Previous 210 had mid-life face lift, new hood, grill, optics and bumper and some changres in interior but nothing radical like this...

Wow, this puts everything up in the air. E500 guys have pics of the facelift and it really doesn't look any different than the current model....really slight changes.
Rear looks the most changed. I would almost guarantee if you take delivery in Jan, you are getting old style. New style should be out late spring around June from everything I have heard.

a few...
you can tell from those black spy photos that the taillights will go the route of the clk, which changes from the red/white/red/white/red from top to bottom to a solid white section in between the two reds. As for the front, I can't really tell too much of a difference with all of that camouflage but i did notice the tailpipes on the spy pics as well, with new wheels available I am assuming.
If anyone gets any more pics post em up, just not the Sclass pics becuase the official ones for the new S have already been released..

I went to my dealer last night to talk about my F&$^in seatbelt sensor going off all the time and he told me he went to a show and saw the 2007 E class and there were no apparent changes. He said MB was concentrating on the new S class for 2007, and a change in the E hasn't been set yet. Those pics above are spy pics for the S class.

I hope that is true..if it is then im pretty sure to buy the e55
