High horsepower competition.....who has the highest E55??

Baller's post sparked my interest.

Mine pulled 476 rear wheel......Ballers was 484.

Anyone higher than that at the rear wheel??

Just curious.

MKB had 680 HP version at the crank, but I think it wasnt really realible so went down to 620HP...

Out of all German tuners, who have tuned 55K engines, ART package makes most power at 630HP...

JackPro -- what are your mods again? I can't recall but someone has a 50 shot that put down 496/574 at the wheels but I would be more interested in non nos.

Also what are the tuners using for their tranny loss #. If its 20% I am at 605/700, if 15% its 570/660.

Just K2 with their high flow water pump and LSD.

What hurts me the most is altitude (less dense air) and rotten gas up here 91 octane max. Although I have been told it is hard to run high octane gas at high altitude as the cars run rich to begin with. When I ran race 103, had real bad starting problems.

Gonna try going back to the dyno with the 103 in and see if it really gives me the 15-20 hp Klee says is possible.

Only good news is it would be easier to run on the bottle.....trying to get the nerve up to do it, but wimping out right now.

Bad air conditions really makes a big difference. I've seen dyno swings of 100rwhp on my Supra from winter to summer from just changes in temp and humidity. All things equal a bad baromoter of 28.4 will be like running your car at a 2K elevation...its like losing 20rwhp compared to the standard 29.6 or whatever is standard sea level conditions.

What elevation are you at?

agreed, 600 rwhp is sick for this car....he has to probably have 700rwhp too.

I would love to have 540rwhp -- enough to maybe hang with a Z06 that had headers and air intake (500 rwhp)....but there isn't any way I can find another 55 rwhp and I am not using NOS....500 rwhp is about all I think I can find with the addition of a Cryo kit.

I hope to know tomorrow...waiting to see if I have an interview with McKinsey friday in Boston....if I am able to make it running on PS2s with 30 series side walls will be interesting...i just make get a supra style time....12.5@122, lol

My cars best time (11.8) was on my new 19" PS2's with 275/30 in the rears and heavy 19" AMG rims

494 rear wheel HP with Evo Mods

Have Evo 1,2 packages. Best dyno is about 494 rear wheel HP with 91 octane gas and 19" PS2. Air flow is probably limiting HP

Here is the dyno, it was done during acceleration run, so it only shows upshift from 3rd to 4th gear. TQ at lower RPMs is around 540-550 ft. lbs.

We should have some more runs this week, as we are working on better airboxes.


Speaking of high power cars, dyno below is a '92 F40 we assisted in tuning. Blue graphs are pretty much stock, red runs are built 3.4L motor with cams, LM turbos and race gas.

On the dyno it sounded WICKED, I will try to post video files later.

Can you please eloborate. Does this 494rwhp car have this new airbox? Did it have the K&Ns/filters in for this dyno? Whats out there for E55 post stage 2?

How much $$ in mods does it take to get the SL600 like that? Looks like there are some SL600s under 100K now with very low miles

Renntech do all SL600 come with Brakes like E55s 6 piston? Saw ur photos somewhere wanted to ask this. Coz S600 do not come with those brakes.

I run drag radials at the track and it hooks 1.7 60' times.

This car has:RennTech ECU and Transmission module, Renntech race fuel map, Eisenmann exhaust. All together about 11k in mods.
