All I have to say is to watch how fast the SL is'nt going by the light poles. Enought said! Another case of someone trying to make the M5 mightier than it really is. give me a friggin break.....

Wow, it just so happens that you fit all 3 criteria -- you live in Denmark -- basically Scandanivia, have only 2 posts, and drive an E60 M5.
Btw, I heard the new M5s run high 9's out of the box. Seriously, NOTHING can touch them, not even funny cars...I am just waiting to see it live with my own eyes

Pfff big deal, i exactly know what happened, SL55 put the pedal down and didnt get any traction at all, that what happened when i raced STI in my E55 once, 55 engines has so much torque that it is hard to launch that car without either ESP cutting the power, or big wheel spin.

I guess I do have to give him credit, at least we don't have small enough *ahem* egos to go post some videos of E55s on other forums slaughtering other cars but to each their own. :v

What that video didn't show was the SL driver busy chatting out his window to a car full of sorority girls who were fawning over his car. I don't think anyone noticed the M5 other than the guy holding the camera.

In that video SL55 got smoked...Cause the you need to know how to launch with all that torgues...
Why is everybody find excuses for SL55...Deal with it, sometimes you win, sometimes you loose...it happens...
E55 is faster then SL55 cause it weight about 120kg less...

Its not the fact that the SL55 lost that makes everyone think this Vid is staged. Its the way the M5 ran away from the SL55. The M5 MIGHT be a faster car in some situations, but there is no way it could run away as it did from an SL55 going full bore unless the race was staged or the SL55 was indeed talking to that car full of Sorrority chicks. NO WAY. Aint happnen' Bra! :p
