I bet the same people who make these covers, make hoods and trunk lids for a range of Japanese cars and none of that mob would dream of paying that much for so little. Once the Mercedes star appears on a product (even illegally) the price goes through the roof... LOL

Anybody buy their CF Hood? I don't like any of it.

They never did come out with a CF hood but they did come out with a CF Lip spoiler. I bought it and it looks sweet. Great quality and workmanship. Here are a couple pics of it on my car.

Let me try to clear something up to the best of my abilities.
Euroteck Motorsports did try to get a custom carbon fiber hood made, and the way the arrangements were with the company that did all the manufacturing is that they needed a set number of people to commit (cash upfront I guess) before they would commence. The interest on the forum didn't get high but Neal @ Euroteck Motorsports was able to find the hood, already in custom fiber from another manufactuer and sells that now.

It's the price to play guys, we're not modding Hondas and Toyotas here (but I wish we were) so we gotta shell out the cash to stay exclusive.
Plus it's not like it looks that bad either

I can easily do that, but the thing is the airbox covers are quite expensive alone just for the part, plus the CF and labor cost. Again you can send you stock airbox to us, but then you will be without your car a while. So thats the main reason we didnt do that.

i would never pay that i can send everything out and get it done for a lot cheaper is that real carbon fiber.

I dont think i got any orders from anyone in napels Florida. Did you click finalize order on the confirmation page and get a email of the order? Also, be sure you are using internet explorer, firefox of MAC will not work.

Sure did, no problems to date. There is no sort of UV coating on CF.
