Any MB dealer can order the factory set - which is nicest but $$$$. Search these forums for aftermarket sills.

Formymercedes.com or 4mymercedes.com I forget which is the correct address but I know they carry them for most MB's.

Go to www.formymercedes.com. They have em for $149.00 for a set of six. You can order them with "Mercedes Benz", "AMG" or other logos.

the price is for each door(4) not six,i have them and they look spectacular,i purchased them from formymercedes.com and they look as good as the original mercedes ones which when i purchased them last year were not available in amg they only had ones that said mercedes benz for the e-class the price was $450 and that was only for two, don't waste your time and money as the ones from the dealer require an entire wiring harness to be installed which takes the entire day as well as removing nearly the entire interior for the harness.trust me, i went through both processes.

A Few
check out my sig...

Beverly Hills Mercedes Benz did all 4 doors for free (I'm a good customer)... also have them on my W209 CLK500 two doors cost a good $800.00

Good thing though, if they break, snap away, whatever... they'll get fixed for free...

BTW: W211 E55 Doors say "////AMG"
W209 CLK Doors say "CLK"

and you can also get "Mercedes Benz" and "SL" (I think that's it except after market...)

I ahve the dealer installed original MB sills and they look great. They cost a small fortune unless you can cut a deal with the dealer. How is your CLS55 doing?

The formymercedes "mercedes benz" ones do look almost as good as the original "mercedes benz" ones, but the formymercedes "AMG" ones don't even come close to how the original "AMG" one look...check dakrisht's picture and feel free to post yours for reference...there is quite a difference (and again, I am not only talking about the outer appearance of the sills).

The original AMG ones are stamped out the actual sill...they don't have a big rectangular hole with a sticker on the inside (like the formymercedes ones or the original "mercedes benz" ones).

The CLS55 is a "show stopper" Really like the car but don't get to drive it much since my wife is always in it.

greetingz,
i agree with you now after looking at mine, unfortunately for me the dealer told me they only had amg sills for the s,cl,etc. classes not the e.the $450 was in with the price of the car when i ordered it and they would only refund it if they removed the wiring harness which took nearly the entire day to install and resulted in the dealer chipping the edge of the drivers rear door edge when removing the seat,i didn't want the sills to stay saying mercedes benz when it should say amg and didn't want to risk further damage to my car so i ate the $450 and they didn't charge me to install the formymercedes ones.they look good although i spent $600 for aftermarket ones, i got four instead of two .the strange thing is the, e55 brochure actually showed the lighted amg sills on an e55.that's why i payed the $450 for them.you live, you learn.

so what is the verdict on this? ARE the AMG ones available from a dealer, or are they only CLS, S class, etc? My dealer doesn't see them as available for my 05 E55...

Loren

I have an '05 E55 and got mine directly from the dealer. If I read the part number on the M-B box correctly, it is B6 6 02 1043. Not sure if that's the part # for all four, front & rear (which I have) or just the front. Can't Google that part #, so ???
