How effective is Kleemann I/C pump?

Getting ready to do Kleemann stage 2,but i have been experiencing some loss of power due to I/C failure.
I spoke with Cory today, and he explained that while it did not help 100%,it was of some help.
I would like to talk yo the following people,or anyone who has had a Kleemann I/C pump installed.

I just want to know what stage you are,and have you notice any significant difference with the I/C pump installed.

Drives Slowly
I had the IC pump installed when I had K2 completed. I did so because Cory told me to.

I can tell you that since I had this completed, I've noted no drop off of my trap speeds when I go to the track. Even after multiple runs the car traps at 121-123. I assume this means that the IC pump is doing it's job

jamusa: I am hving my K2 done this week and Brandon told me that where I live it is not required. Maybe in the desert so...I have tracked my car in stock trim at the 1/4 mile track 9 runs in a row and never budged off the 90 degree C mark. I decided not to-Joker

............I have Kleemann K4 with 654HP and 702lbft of torque with the Kleemann inter cooler upgrade. I have had no heat issues no matter how much I flog the car. On recent 1500mile trip, temp stayed steady at 90Celcius. LINK

Have you taken your car w/K4 mods to the track? Curious to see 1/4 mile time and trap speed with the K4 mods.

...........it is a G55. I took it next day after the mods and ran a 12.9. Car spins all 4 tires, so I need to figure out a better way to launch the car since a burn out is not possible in a 4 wheel drive. Also the car was yet to adapt to the modifications at the time I ran the 12.9. I believe the car is capable of running mid 12 in the 1/4 mile. Interestingly, because the 2005 G55's have their topspeed limited to 130mph, they are aggressively geared for low end acceleration. When I ran the the 12.9, I was faster 0-60 compared to a C6 corvette I ran against which ran a 12.6 and has a 0-60 time in the low 4sec range.

Jakpro1 checking in.

Bottom line is that these things are heat monsters. The Kleemann pump is a workhorse and keeps my car running dead even heatwise through many high R Runs. No HP gains with pump only.....it's more a regulator for all the added heat and that = longer engine life and better performance of that K2.

I think I was one of the first to get the Kleemann water pump and when they put mine on the dyno, they rolled it through 4 dyno runs in a row with extremely little heat soak. Only by about the 4th run pushing near 200mph and full redline did she start to get hotter....and that ain't too shabby.

Considering by the 4th run without it, the blower would have just about shutdown due to monster heat.

I say if you are spending near 10K for K2, go the extra mile and tack on the extra $$ for the pump. It's not that awful much....not like the LSD. You getting that too? It's in the 5K range so I know it's some additional cash. You can always add that later I guess.

Now get that pump!!

And just add to that, it has been shown many times that the stock Bosch pump fails or stops working at times. Many reasons to get the IC upgrade that have nothing to do with more HP. My main purpose for the pump was enjoy all the power from the K2.

I should have my K2,LSD and I/C pump installed by next Friday this time.I will keep you guys informed as to how good it runs, how it hooks up with lsd,and how cool the car runs with the I/C pump installed. So far with the exception of a few people.........K2 with LSD and I/C Johnson pump ,seems to be the way to go.Then i go get me a M5 to beat up on.I better do this fast, before some tuning company makes some go fast goodies for them.I may not beat him in the corners, but i will beat him to and from the corners all day.

No worries A stock E55 will take the new M5 in the straights, your K2 will DESTROY it.
