My Flint Grey E55 with SL65 Wheels
Put these on over the weekend and took some quick snaps after a wash. I know the wheels are a bit heavy but these things were just meant to go on this car/color. I figure I will try to live up to my new year's resolution to lose some weight myself to help offset the wheel weight. Wish me luck on that one! I will try to get some better pics later.

I have always liked that wheel and it looks especially good on your car. If you are worried about the weight issue with respect to 1/4 mile times, you will probably use drag radials which come in mostly/only in 18's anyway.

great choice on wheels...
I have seen CLS55 wheels on the E55, and they looked really good too.
If you car was a different lighter color, the wheels would not look as good.
Good job!

These wheels also look great on a white E55.
No, there are not any offset issues or clearance issues. I think these are the wheels the car was destined to be with from the factory.

Thanks all for the kind words. Glad I could share the pics with others who share the same excitment about the beast! This site is jam packed with info and is invaluable for an E55 owner.
AMG Bliss: Thanks for reminding me about the radials. I wasn't thinking that far ahead. Good to know that I will only have to deal with a few extra pounds on the two front wheels when it comes to time slips.
Can Drive 55: The are no offset issues with these particular wheels. The bolt pattern is an identical 5-112. The offset is 30 on the front and 31 on the rear. That is the key. One of "official" amg websites actually has the silver version of these wheels as an available option for the E55. There are some chrome version sl65 wheels that are ebay that have an offset of 25 front and 28 rear. I don't think these will work, if at all, without involving spacers. Someone with more SL knowledge can hopefully chime in on these. The silver colored ones at Tire Rack are identical to mine except for the color. For whatever reason Tire Rack no longer offers the titan grey color. They used to at one time. My particular wheels were takeoffs that came from a custom wheel shop. Heck of a lot cheaper that the dealership. If you end up having to buy the wheels and tires as a set, keep in mind you will have to most likely swap out tires to avoid potential rubbing issues. The tires that are OEM on the SL are 255/35-19 front and 295/30-19 on the rear. AMG recommends 245/35-19 on the front and 275/30-19 on the rear for an E55. Hope this helps!
Fikse: These wheels look hot on pewter too. They seem to change color a bit and pick up some of the gold tint from the pewter paint. Check out ebay for an 2005 cl65 that is in pewter. May have to look at completed items. It will give you an idea how it would look on your car. BTW, I need to get you over to take some pics of my car. Your pics of your new beast look awesome!
F Porsche: Funny you mentioned the wagon. I almost pulled the trigger on a flint grey E55 wagon that was at a local dealer. Someone ordered it, had it for a weekend, and decided he wanted a black sedan instead. I passed because if I was going to do the wagon I wanted the flexibility of the third row for the kids. This one did not have that option on it. So you were a third row option away from seeing these on a wagon!

4 wheels
Can Drive 55, keep looking on Ebay or elsewhere. I know these wheels are like 4 to 5K at the stealership and other places. But they just look drop dead gorgeous when the car is lowered and when paired with our white E55's its a winning combination. Looks stealthy and gets a lot of stares at the stoplights.

Thanks for the info. I thought Tire Rack still carried the grey color. I will check around and see what is available. Again, they look great, congrats.

ET 30 and ET 31 are made for E55 and definitely not for SL 65 : it should be ET25 and ET28.
Also the rear would be 19x10 if it was SL65.
AMG makes the silver wheel in ET30 19x8.5 and ET31 19x9.5 for E55 so maybe they also make the titanium?
Great looking wheel whichever way you look at it! I am going to get a silver one like yours for my Silver car, as soon as Luke from TTR sends me my 255/285 tires .

Does AGR have a website or contact details - out of interest?

Here you go:
www.agrtyres.com.au in Sydney and www.hrracingwheels.com.au in Melbourne have the same range of Taiwanese wheels of absolutely amazing quality. In many respects the finish is better than the original AMG/MB wheels which have a thin coat of silver paint on the front and grey primer all the way back: el cheapo at max $$$

2006 E55
Back in town and catching up on this thread. As a relative newbie, I must admit I did not pick up on the silver center cap error. The center caps are definitely silver. I have a call into the person I picked up the wheels from and he is checking with the installers that did the actual wheel switch. His first reaction was that the original owner may have wanted to keep the grey center caps and his guys replaced them with the silver ones or that the original owner put them on to match his silver sl65. I'll let you all know.
The wheels are not the generic ones like agr offers. These have the amg logo stamped on one of the spokes and the proper OEM part #'s are stamped on the inside. After Rafal's posts I did a bit more research about SL65 wheels. The mbusa site states the rear wheels for the SL65 are 9.5". Also the mercedes-amg site lists 19" titan grey two piece wheels with 30 front offset and 31 offset for the rear as available fo the SL65 and the E55. They share the EXACT same part #'s. B6 603 1369 for the front and B6 603 1370 for the rear.
Where is the information about 10" rears and offsets of 25 and 28 coming from? Are these maybe from the 030 package on the SL55? I can't find an official mercedes site that states the SL65 has 10" rears and/or offsets of 25 and 28. Any help on this would be appreciated.
