What do you think about this exhaust system for an E55 AMG?

Are there any problems with the On-Board-Diagnose in combination with those 100 cpsi cats?

What do you think about the sound? would it be really "racing"-style?

I want a really good exhaust system with headers and cats for my baby....

I know, that´s not the problem.... here in Germany you need "only" 10.000€

I want to know, if someone has installed this system and how are the results of it.....

Is it very "loud".....???

In 2 weeks, I will be the second member of this board to have the full system installed. AMGBliss's system has resonators, mine has straight pipes, so should be a good comparison between the 2 setup in terms of sound.

Can Drive 55

$12K for 28.2 HP is not a lot of bang for the buck.

Short answer; No Dash Lights.

I have NEVER regretted the SS system one bit!!!! I paid more than most members are willing to pay and I was flamed for it more than once, but the feeling I had when I first started the car with no CEL light or any other lights for that matter... it was well worth it.

The one thing that I had to deal with is the plastic engine cover will not go back on without cutting/modifying. The long headers get in the way.

Get that bad boy on already . I'm curious to see what dyno #'s you get. I feel that my ECU desperately needs to be re-mapped for optimum performance.

I wish I could get it on and ready for July 4th, but it's still at port waiting for Customs to clear it. I'm anxious to see what I'm going to get along with intake, pulley, and ECU. Words from Powerchip Group is my car will kick the new M5's to Jupiter, will see about that.

Talk is cheap. I'm in no way saying that your car will not kick the sh*t out of a new M5, but there is more to re-mapping an ECU than power.

Yes...SS has simular system for M5 and with ECU M5 will make around 567 HP !!!

Doubt that E55 with just SS ehausts and Ecu would take M5 with SS and ECU...

With Chip and pullies E55 would be around 580 HP and this is another story...

Someone should race M5 with SS and Chip vs E55 with headers, chip and pullies
