OMG hysterical... and for me, it personally brings back images of my dad and his racing team days. My mom made him get rid of all the hot rods when I was born (I don't think he ever forgave me)... so he went to work on the Ford Fairlane 500 station wagon, the mother dictated new family car. He replaced the engine with some monster motor... and used to race for pinks in it. Funny ****. Big old hole in the floor for the 3 speed... I could see the ground as it whizzed by...

Ahh, yes. The Fox platform Fairmont. I've always wanted to build one myself, especially a wagon. Pretty much anything that works on Fox Mustangs will work on the Fairmonts and (small)LTD's. They sure make great sleepers, but I think a most of the Mustang folks have caught on to them by now. These wagons, given the same setup, will actually launch better than the Mustang due to the ideal weight distribution (for drag racing) placing more weight over the rear axle.
