Been looking at this site and slowly getting the Mod bug. A few of the member's here has the Kleemann K1 and K2 upgrade - now I found a nearby Benz / Kleemann authorized dealer. I guess my first question is how much do they charge for a K1 or K2 upgrade. Not knowing the value is a disadvantage and i want to know before I talk to these guys. Any input is always appreciated. Thank you.

Have you thought about Renntech? I went though the same proceess. Waited to I put 1K miles on the car first though. I think the Renntech ECU & pulley might be quicker than the Kleemann. Don't know for sure, but from what I am reading and hearing it seems like it is. The Kleemann headers are monsters though. Don't think Renntech's will give you nearly as much HP. But if you are just doing ECU & Pulley, Renntech might give you more power. I think it might be the ECU. I have heard that Renntech has a broader powerband...

Hydeway,

I'm in the same boat. Got mind in Dec '05. Already tinted the windows and added the iPod kit. But now I feel like a sucker, b/c I got the ext. warranty on the engine (I figured I'd push it hard and rather be covered). So, I'm reluctant to do any mods to it. The car already pulls nicely as is, but, we all know that it can never pull enough!

That reminds, I really need to change my sig picture. The Saab was nice, but the E rules!
