MD E55-ers everywhere

Went to the gym in Germantown this afternoon - 3 E55s (black, silver and my white) in the parking lot. Cruising down 124, I saw Derrick (DJe55 - hey dude ) in his badass silver E.

It's like a freakin' belly button car around here!!

It's spring I guess, I started seeing much more AMG cars around here in Denver, CO too. Almost everyday I end up parking next to one.

I thought that was you. Your car looked great going down the road. Did you lower it? Also, what tint do you have? I was a little embarrassed because my car is so dirty.

Thanks, DJ. I always love seeing E55s cruising down the road. Mine's still stock ride height.

I wasn't sure if my tint was too dark for you to see my ugly mug in the car I have 35% reflective. But at the right angles/lighting, combined with the factory blue tint, it can seem darker.

I had it done at Dr. Tint in Frederick.

No trouble at all. But every one of my cars, except the wife's ML, has illegal tint and no front plate My pickup is so dark I have to roll down the windows to turn around in my own driveway at night.

I just noticed you dont live in Montgomery County or Fairfax County. They are STRICT about tint. My bro has 20% all the way around and 35% on winshield, looks good but already got pulled over. I was considering reflective tint but was told I wouldnt last a week. You have some nice cars man!

Looks really good dude. I could barely see you in the car with that tint. I may have to go to your guy in Frederick. The only reason I thought it was you was the silhouette of that devil beard you have. Are you bringing the Vette or the E to the track event at the end of this month? See you there if not soon.

Is the track day posted in the gathering section? I haven't seen any info about it.

I'm prepping my Vette to run the standing mile April 1, so I'm not sure if it will make it to the drags until after that trip. I have to finiish my firesystem and a bunch of other safety stuff to run it.

My cars are the same. NO front tags and tint all around. If they want to stop you they can stop you for anything...but they have to catch you first
