Thinking of trading for a 996 turbo

Well, I love the my 2005 E55...but, in retrospect I think I probably should have gone with a 996 turbo. I have a full K2 kit with eisenmann exhaust and custom carbon fiber interior with only 5000 miles.

Anyone want to trade?

I would go with a 997 S over a 996 turbo.

In any event, I'm interested in your CF interior and exhaust. Do you want to sell either?

I'd take a 997S over a 996TT anyday, too.

The 996 turbo is an amazing car, that's for sure.

I would take the 997S too. Saw one on the street (Comm Ave for those that are familiar with Bean Town) the other day. It was a beaut!

Dunno I was thinking about 996TT for a while now, but after sitting in one, i can say this car just doesnt feel right, for the money I'm gonna go with Z06 i suggest you take a look at it too. !

Maybe for looks but you will never ever be able to mod out a 997S over a 996TT- Trust me I have one! The look department is subtle too but all P Car owners can tell the difference.

I understand that the motor has WAAAAY more potential for mods. But with the Pcars the unibody is the key to success, no? Getting a Pcar to haul bells in a straight line is sort of a loss of potential to me. Heck, the S4 can put more power down than the rear drive. In tight twisties and short tracks, I'd still take a 997s, just because of the agility upgrades. The body is soooo much tighter with each new generation. I know that the TT and 4S models of the 996 had the stronger body than the 996 or S, but I am only comparing stock to stock. I don't have either, but I've put in MANY hours in a 993 Turbo, and a 996TT. I have also test driven the 997S with the intent of getting it or a Z06, and there is no comparison. Maybe it is the added weight of all wheel drive, I dunno. But the 997s feels like suck a go kart. It is an awesome change from the E55.
Either way. Pcars are awesome rides, and yes I do HATE the look on the 996 lights. I even hate the 997 front end. But, I LOVE it with the Aero package. That is the one I may get. To each his own.
