i drove my first E55 today, with a Brabus suprise!! BIG PIX
well my friend with a brabus E55 let me drive today. when i got in i asked him "so whats brabus besides the rims?" he said "i dont know", i laughed and thought to my self how lucky this kid is that he gets to drive such a nice car at such a young age. as we were going along, he was asking me Q's about various settings on the car (esp, the suspention, and what the triangle was that keeps on flashing). i explaned to him what these all were.
the E55 blew me away, i have never driven one, only rode in one and i said "this is a LOT faster then the one i rode in", i just had to pop the hood.
after he opened it, this is what i saw.
yes, a E55 K8!!!
i was like "i hate you, do you know what this is?!?!"
he diddnt seem to care much, i was ALL over it!
man, what an awsome car that was!!!
the supercharger was sooo nice to listen too!

he and his father have over 28 cars, the E55K8 is like ther "beater" car. he drives a land roaver daily, and when that is broken, he drives a 993 or the E55K8. he posts here once and a while, under THE NAM or NAM. one of those.
i dont have a side shot, the car is a sleeper, it only has the brabus rims and badges.

Checked the Brabus Website and the K8 E55 tuning package produces 530 HP. They don'y say weather it is Crankshaft or RWHP but I suspect it is Crankshaft HP. So it is most likely comparable to the Kleeman & Rentech Stage 1 set-ups (Pulley & ECU).

I always had this dream to include a few R129s in a car collection. Of course a nice variation of V12's (SL73 AMG, SL74 Renntech, SL73 Brabus, and my big bad 6 Litre for nostalgia purposes)...but one with a Kleemann built 5.4 Litre as well.

it is an awsome car! we went to dinner with my friend with the s/c NSX and it was awsome going through the parking garage with the 55, nsx and the SL. he is 17.

he will pass. he is to afarid of the H/P in that car, we'll give it some time and he might be up for it. if it were me, i would be bangin' on your front door! he is not a fast/agressive driver (he asked me what the button behind the pedal was

not really allowed to drive the cars too much so the car is new to me, plus my dad made a tracking company so he knows my speed. Im 18 years old, i think someone asked that. i may not know alot about whats in the car, but i know enough due to my dad's big interest in them to know which cars i can smoke with it and if a car is worth a trade with that.
heres a shot that someone took of some of my cars. its already floating around the internet so theres no harm in putting it here i guess. not Benz related tho.
