New Mod -- Custom Front Euro License Plate

Well being that my front bumper has license plate drilled holes in it already and at present I don't have the time to get the bumper fixed and resprayed, I decided to order a custom front german license plate in the interim. Hope you guys like it.

I'm sure you already considered the option of getting bumperplugs...right?

I did, but the bumper is dented from the screws.

I like it. In Australia we call it the Euro plate. I am not a big fan of the front bumper without a license plate, which would be illegal here anyway.
Here's mine...

Thats the way I'd go if I had holes drilled. Or you could have them filled by a good paint/body shop too.

I will definitely have them filled very soon... I just wanted something in the interim. These custom front plates are only $45 shipped from Germany. Can't beat that.

Sold
Some euro bumper strips would look great too. I just installed mine, and it cleans up the front end quite a bit.

I've already purchased the Kleemann lowering module. I plan on installing it this weekend.

I have the Kleeman module, it allows for some fairly dramatc drops. I dropped it too much and started to get ride height warnings though!!

Sorry Josh, I'm just not feeling the front decor, especially if you live in the USA.
Get the holes filled and lose the plate. I understand the need for a plate if you local jurisdiction requires it but why clutter a beautiful front end if no plate is needed.

I agree with you, but you've got to admit that it is a whole lot better than having either 1) visible drilled holes or 2) a nevada front license plate

Just wondering, have you ever stopped by the police becoz of your german license plate in USA? I am using one right now in MA and I am not sure whether I will be stopped one day.

I had one on my 300E and I got pulled over twice in one year by the same cop I took it off, however I'm considering putting it on the E55 since there are drill holes from the front plate

Why would they stop you if you still had your regular license plate on the trunk?

I'm not sure about anywhere else but here in Illinois it is illegal to not have a front plate.
