Is that why you can't give away a "grey market" car in this country? If the car isn't US Spec it is branded as a red headed stepchild and resale is gone.

I'm looking to spend about $70k on a car. I want an e55, and the newer with less miles the better. Are there still '05's on the lot that dealers want out? I'm in socal btw...

If I am out of my mind, what is more realistic? A low mileage CPO '05?

What are the socal dealerships I should visit? Which ones should I stay away from? Any contacts that I should know about?

Help me out guys! Thanks

Sam
I can get you a new loaded black/charcoal 2005 E55 from a MB dealer for $75K ($90,000+ MSRP).

CLK63 Black, E350 Wagon, Supercharged Denali, Lotus Elise, Tesla Model 3 Dual-Motor.
2005' at $67,900 from dealer

I'm picking up a 2005' has 5k miles, Premium & Lighting Pkgs on Tuesday. Paying $67,900. + tax off a M/B dealer.

Adding this along side my 1993' daily driver RennTECH 500E 6 liter. Will have to face these off sometime soon to see who's the Alpha dog.

I am selling my '05 E55, inservice date 7/04, 15.800 miles, with:
040 Black
251 charcoal/charcoal Leather
163 Std Edition
319 Lighting Pkg.
528 Std Radio
540 Power rear-Window shade
819 6 Disc CD Changer
881 Electronic trunk closer
889 Keyless go
200/265 Single Compact Disc
275/365 Harmon Kardon Sound
Michelin PS2's with about 1400 miles.

So I went to the dealer I bought it from and had a Kelly BB print out-wholesale/retail value of $74,725/$83,680 (original MSRP was $85,560). I also had a custom JBL subwoofer installed in the spare tire space for $1500.00. Anyway, the, pardon the expression, Bentley dealer, told me I could take that out, as far as they were concerned and they would give me a trade in value of $65,000.00. BTW, they sell a new Continental GT at sticker, with or without trade in. I really don't want to try and sell it personally, but what is the price I should realistically expect to get for it, should I autotrader it or newspaper? I am in So. Cal..

Thank you very much

Fury

the sales ppl are ghetto, the way they conduct biz is ghetto, every aspect is ghetto. of course, my opinion. feel free to disagree.

sure, their price is on the lower side, but all the "seem-2b-good price" cars there are beaten to ****. anything thats actually decent is not really cheap.

auto expo = one of the most shadiest operations known to man.

sure you could get a smokin deal, but did you ever see the lots they have near or around thier showrooms where they keep some of these monstrosities? these cars have been in some serious accidents in other states, and sold to you for a "smokin" deal as a new one owner vehicle.
