OK -- this is probably a no-brainer, but here goes anyway...

I love my E55 wagon, but have had knee reconstruction and am getting sick and tired of not being able to drive it. Now my doc is telling me I may not be back to "normal" until the end of the year. So, as much as it kills me to do it, I will probably list my E55 for sale (only 2800 miles)...

I had Steve from MBNL install the Euro Nav/COMAND unit. I'm assuming the best thing to do would be to remove it and post it on eBay. How difficult is it to pull the Euro unit and pop the old one back in, and does it require anything other than the physical switch (or is any programming/coding involved?).

Finally, what should I ask for this? Steve sells them for $2,250; given that it's 100% perfect (with all manuals and factory packaging) would $2K be appropriate?

Prolly a little high for a used unit. Also, make buyers aware that you CANNOT have Sirius with a euro COMAND unit. The 2 features are mutually exclusive according to Steve, which is why I didn't go for it myself.

Its about $200 to remove it at the dealer.

$2000 is kinda steep, I got one for sale for $1500

You CAN have Sirius and XM but only as a standalone, it won't integrate. Instead, you have network tv, dvd movies, and mp3's that integrate with the headunit and display. I have the xm controller just below it in the ashtray spot.
