honduh, bimmer, bEnz, ferrari and etc
i had deposit down since last nov as well.
although i have been having 2nd thoughts since, it seems for a new AMV8, a used DB9 might be a better buy, then in the same theory, a '02 vanguish for 140's seem to be the best buy.
wat u think?

The Vantage offers the straight-line performance of the DB9 and Vanquish with the addition of a world class suspension capable of 8 minute laps of Nurburgring. Kinesis does not make a rim for the Aston yet, but I am working with them to get 18's and 19's available.

a few...
IMO, the V8 Vantage is the way to go. That car is a knockout, I took one for a spin at an AM party here about three months ago. It was only around the block so I didn't get that great of a feel but it could move! (For a car with such low miles on it especially). The DB9 feels too much like an AM for my taste, yes it's improved but it still has a really heavy feeling with not much bounce or character from what it seems... it's kind of a hard feeling to describe.
Don't miss the exhaust note on the V8 Vantage, or the DB9 for that matter. I don't know how true it is because I didn't measure it with any meters or anything, but someone at the AM party said it was one of the loudest cars on the road. I don't know if that's hype or truth, but holy sh*t! that thing screamed!!! You won't be disappointed, just don't go in thinking you have the better alternative to the almighty P car because it is all subjective. Hopefully you are an AM guy, because the new AMV8 Vantage is the one to have!

My AMV8 is getting painted right now...Should be taking delivery in approx. six weeks. I would wholeheartedly endorse the V8 over the DB9 or the older Vanquish. The interior on the older cars are simply too Ford-esque and the handling leaves a lot to be desired.
It doesn't appear that the V8 will be real competitor to the 911, but then again, who needs it to be...it's breathtaking in its own right.

When you show up for delivery, go a test drive in your car before closing the deal. They still have quality control problems. I drove a demo with 400 miles for 30 minutes last week and had the door locks continuously cycle on and off. I couldn’t get going because the handbrake wouldn’t release..it felt so loose like the cable wasn’t attached. The ac cut off when I lowered the thermostat and there was a disconcerting thud from the transmission when shifting from neutral to first.
