*** 80mm AMG Throttle Body ***
The factory used some type of black gunk which beaded into the chamber.
Just remove clean and reapply safe blue "sparingly!"
Did I explain correctly...?

The only way to know for sure is once you get it out of the car and inspect it.
If you do port the TB and put it in the other car, you should really port match the S/C inlet otherwise there is no real benefit.
I have the machine shop working on making 15 adapter plates (that's only 2 extras) and they are going to be ready today.
Tomorrow I will dissassemble the Inlets (remove all the plastic pieces) and prepare them to be welded and hopefully drop them off at the welder.

All future TB kits will have a 1 week turn-around time after these kits are done. I've found a way to eliminate some steps and refine the kit further. I will be able to do 1-at-a-time kits again now that some new stuff has fallen in my lap.
Yes - with the K3VRP set-up my best dyno runs were 528rwhp/595rwtq in 70 degree weather..... For grins I went to a neighbor business this morning who had just put in a 4 wheel "Mustang" dyno (He works alot on rice-burners)
and the car was literally not able to dyno as each time you would "throttle-up f/2k rpms....the tires (295/30/19's - PS2's) would actually start to simply break loose
and "spin freely" on the mustang dyno. We then put 500lbs of people in the back seat...drop tire pressure to 25lbs....and @throttle-up, the car was actually creating wheel-hop
needless to say, after 5 pulls we finally gave up.
The dyno was a "small wheel" dyno and I really need to find a "large wheel" dyno to test the ANIMAL in my car
I did a test on the way home this afternoon in 82 degree weather and ran a 121+ trap speed in the 1/4mi. I NEVER could do that kind of trap in 80+ temps with the stock TB. - This 80MM VRUS TB is the real deal!!
Needless to say K2 with VRUS TB's has truly brought us all to a new level....and it's so much fun to enjoy it!!
Thanks Victor again for making this so easily "plug-n-play"
and while I'm throwing out congrats.....did I tell you how GREAT my car from top to bottom looks since Chris @C2Designs in Tampa did the interior?.....I know I did but he deserves another "plug" ....
Thanks Chris!!
I am just ecstatic that you guys are enjoying the mod... All your cars sound just insane based on the power they are putting down.
I have revised the kit even further now.. Lead time to make them now will be 1.5 weeks based on delivery of goods from Germany. (It takes 1 - 1.5 weeks for parts to arrive with normal delivery). Because of these new designs I can do one-offs again if needed..

It will either be Kit #24 or Kit #25 which will be the new revised one.. There will no longer be a 3/8" adapter plate for the kit. I have a new 1-piece cast part that will replace the stock inlet. I'll show a pic of it once I get it back from the manufacturer..
It's a surprise..

Victor,
What would the one pc SC Inlet cost. What I was thinking was buying the SC Inlet off the new 07 SL55 and seeing if they work. I know that these come with the 80mm throttle bodys.

All seems well, no lights, bells or bad messages from the ECU...

"VIC's the MAN"...
After installing T/Body turn key to on position without starting for 90 seconds for ECU check's and balance's to occur...
Just got to finish the IPOD & SIRRUS installs and start enjoying the new performance and sounds...
