As many have said on prior posts / threads...stay away from 03's go for 04-05 models...someone on the forum is actually selling a 05 white E55 with under 200miles with pano, keyless go, navi, xenons, etc for LOW 70s. Try contacting him...i personally think its a better deal than this....but IF you can hold out for a couple more months...wait till the 07 E63 comes out and you probably will get an even better deal on 06 and 0lder E55's

Then again, I have 03 with 24k and have never had a single problem with it. You could save yourself 12k with the car that you listed. The price seems very good, there are questions about the E63 yet being even as fast from a dig, and if you went with a new E63 it too would be a "first model year" car with the stigma associated with it too...

I have an 03 that has been great too. Check the service records and ownership history, and you will get a good feel if the car is problematic or not.

I have the 05 White E55. I am in Delaware. I paid $76,500 for it on 3/01/06. It has Pano, Keyless, Navi w 6-pack, seats, lighting pkg. I will sell it for $72,000.00. I told another board member the same price today. Local dealer has a car I want but will only give me $68,000.00. Wholesalers are scart of this car right now so do not buy it unless you plan to drive it . . .if so it is a good deal . . .150 miles . . .brand new 05 . . . 17K off list. If you are willing to travel more than a few hundred miles it should open up some 04 and 05's under $70k . . . .autotrader ect . . .

Good luck.

No problems with my 2003 W211 E55 !!
I have had -0- problems with my 2003 E55. We have all had a couple of recalls but other than this there has been absolutely nothing wrong with my 2003 E55 period!! My lease is up in 90 days and I have spec'd out my E63 and anticipate delivery in late July or early August. My E55 is listed on Autotrader for $61,000 and I had a couple of calls allready on it.

2003's have "Free Service plan" versus later years
Another advantage of the 2003 W211 E55's are the free service plan included in the 03's. I do not think this was included in the 04's and subsequent years. + Zero problems over 34 months and 26k miles.

service plan
I have a 04, they have a free service plan, 05 do not something to think about. I would get the 03, and save the money.
