I love the Sneaky reset, it's my own personally fun button. After I drive home and park the Monster (Better than the beast, see sig with mods) I do this. That way the next morning when I wake her up, it's like a brand new car.

Now do this with 109 Octane in the car and OMG!! I don't get miles per gallon, i get SMILES per gallon.

Wait...that woud be a great bumper sticker in today's high gas prices, perhaps with a nice MB or AMG logo?

Anyone game to make one?

Alex

This may sound silly but "on" is at which position of the key ? The first click or second ?

No. It's the reset of your TCU not ECU!

I say try it. Has worked for some other MB models. Over all these years, only had one nut say it messed his car up somehow which is virutally impossible.

It's like clearing the cache on your browser. She goes back to factory default.

You'll love it!!

Wait til you feel the shifts!

C43 AMG CAB & VIPER
So technically on a C63 AMG that is always in MANUAL mode it would be useless right ?

Or did I miss the point...

SL55
It definitely works!

I have a 2005 SL55 and was just noticing this morning how much of a lag there is from when you hit the gas to when the car takes off, almost like a turbocharger lag. It almost jerks you when it takes off.
I did the ECU Reset before going to lunch. All I can say is WOW! This works.
The throttle response is instantaneous and the traction control light flashes constantly now. I am a firm believer.

I do just drive it back and forth to work so I'm sure it does get really sluggish in normal driving. I am going to have to start driving it like I stole it. (LOL)
