Renntech Stage 3 project
On Monday (05/22) Kronen Tuning will commence Stage III Renntech on our customers car!
Stage III
ECU upgrade, Pulleys and headers!
The customer will do a pre mod 'hot run' dyno first and then a post mod 'hot run' dyno after the installation. This will be a 4 day project.
Attached is RENNTECH's dyno sheet showing pre and post mod! (hot run)

Renntech's number has always been conservative. But hopefully our project this time will show that the gain estimated is an underestimation.

I would recommend going with Renntech Stage IV which includes the carbon fiber airbox. This package yields 559 horespower and 606 ib-ft of torque. Then you will yield more power than Kleemann stage 2 and be able to keep your factory downpipes and cats.
In my opinion, both packages are great, it is simply a matter of location (which tuner is closer to you), accessability, and preference (do you want to remove primary cats and downpipes or keep them in place.)
Having said all that, the fastest non-NOS Kleemann stage 2 on this board I believe is DJe55 and I believe he has his factory downpipes and primary cats. Thus these numbers probably don't mean much!

I've had nothing but GREAT experiences with Kleemann. But like you said, both are probably great packages.

My Kleeman k3 makes 500rwhp/640ft lb tq at the wheels.I have since then did the k4......but as not yet dynoed the car........the car seems to be the same at the bottom, but pulls more on top.To tell the truth i dont need any more torque.....its a handful as it is.

Can you please post a dyno sheet of your pull.. I have to see this dyno chart....
I have never seen a W211 E55 pull over 600 rwtq in a 4th gear pull on the dyno.. Everyone who I have seen with Kleemann headers is always pushing LESS torque than us guys with the narrower diameter headers. 640rwtq is a big number considering the norm seems to be 540rwtq - 580rwtq.

Exactly what went through my mind.. Every time I see his post with those numbers I get curious as to what the dyno chart looks like. That would have to be a record for the highest numbers recorded so far...
