Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 vs PS2s

Had GS-D3's mounted on the CLK- saw that the fronts were date coded 2004 manufacture , made in Germany, the rears made in CHINA- ya China, but made in 2007, this was last month- took em back and got standard PS like the car came with-
The GS-D3's seemed to ride harder- and no way I am accepting 3 year old tires and back ones made in China...
Happy to be back to the PS= nuff said.......

I thought I was the only one going through PS2's like mad!
Rears last ~5k, fronts ~10k. Painful to factor this into the cost of ownership...

I have used the GS-D3 on my Volvo T5. I really liked them a lot and a friend used them on his Camaro and found them excellent.
I have to say the wet traction is amazing.
The cost is also very good.
I will agree with one other post that on occasion I would get funny wear patterns. On the Volvo, frequent rotation solved the issue. We do not have that option.
To be honest, the GS-D3 will be on my short list when I have to replace just due to the cost.

GSD3's
I've used both PS2's several sets and GSD3s several sets. The GSD3's are significantly cheaper and seem to have better wet traction. I didn't find the dry traction to be that different. Certainly not for the differential of cost. The GSD3's are also rounder and have less chance of rubbing for extreme fits.
I would recommend the GSD3s.
Of course I use the Pilot Sport Cups now but ... I still have the GSD3's on my winter set of rims.
