((HELP!! dvd stuck in comand))
theres a dvd stuck in the comand dvd drive
i keep pressing the eject, u can hear the mechanic working but no dvd comes out.
anyway of getting it out?

just hit the opening with the side of your fist and it will come out. i know it sounds really stupid but ive seen this happen to many of my friends comands and this is the easiest, but not the leat lethal way of doin it.

Perhaps try getting some tweezers and press the eject button while pulling it out gently....probably want to put some padding on the tweezer to avoid scratching the cd...

There should be a small hole about the size of a pin which will activate the mechanical release of the disc.... its definately there somehwere - you just got to find it.

My CD/DVD player wouldn't open. They replaced the unit and sent the bad unit off to get my CDs out. 3 mos later I got 4 out of 6 CDs back, two of which were so badly damaged that I couldn't play them after that. Dealer never could get it to eject.
