E55 vs MB Mclaren F1.
Take a look at this video. It makes our cars look a little underpowered.

Oldie but a goodie. When you watch F1 now or if you have ever been to a race, the MB/AMG F1 Pacecar is being driven pretty hard by a former DTM driver on a caution lap while the F1 cars are putting heat in the tires. It's sort of like watching a cat play with a ball of yarn.

Power to weight ratio is the main cause, plus not to mention the F1 car pushing over 1000 HP, it is an incredible video none the less.

I like this video better: http://www.autoblog.nl/archive/2006/...ctief_relatief
Shows better cars with the same effect. And a great way to learn French!

Factoid: The fuel in the new F1 V8 engines travels close to supersonic speeds to meet the high rpm demands of the motor. Can't even imagine fluids breaking the sound barrier. This was from Race Car Engineering magazine.
